These two pieces, Shadow Boxing and Women with Baskets (from the canata "The Chosen"), exhibit all of Consuela Lee's musical language while being suitable for young musicians. Notably, Women with Baskets uses much of the same forms (but at a beginning level) of Lee's professional-level work The Sun Is Rising.
