A setting for mezzo-soprano, cello, and piano of three ekphrastic poems by Jeri Theriault, responding to Gideon Bok’s “Dark Winter,” Andrew Wyeth’s “Chambered Nautilus,” and Marc Chagall’s “Promenade.” The songs of this set are also available individually, with the titles “Dark Winter,” “Woman and the Nautilus,” and “Bella Above.”
