All of the electronic sounds in this work are trumpet samples transformed with a mirage digital sampling keyboard. Much of the sampled material is derived from segments of passages performed by the live trumpet. The work explores both the lyrical and declamatory nature of the instrument, as well as some extended performance techniques, which the electronic tracks take to further extremes. High difficulty - advanced performer only.
