Composer's Note:

'Wingbeat' (2025) is for violin and electronics where the electronic part is crafted from a single audio sample of a monarch butterfly's wings (which is heard in its original form at the beginning of the piece). The work was made possible from a Career Development Grant from the Lake Region Arts Council (Minnesota) and Dr. Courtney Grula, insect physiologist (North Dakota State University).
