Composer's Note:

Composed in July, 1992, "Three Reveries" consists of three slow, meditative pieces. Their lack of drama or outward intensity represented a discovery for me, with their calmness, restraint and quiet focus anticipating some of the pieces I wrote ten or even twenty years later. Each piece has its own kind of flow, with the chorale-like solemnity of the third suggesting spacious orchestral music.
