Composer's Note:

Having beaten one "curse" (the famous ninth symphony curse), with this one I hope to beat the triskaidekaphobia curse that did Schoenberg in. This work is in one extended movement of approximately 26 minutes in duration for large orchestra using some instruments not usually encountered in orchestral music.
