Composer's Note:
“Swashbuckler” is from my triptych of fantasy film scores, inspired by the movies and music scores of the Golden Era of Hollywood cinema. A "swashbuckler film" is a very stylized genre featuring adventurous, heroic characters and plots based on earlier European romantic costume novels. The hero is often a swordsman who fights with honor for King and Country. (See e.g., The Mark of Zorro, The Adventures of Robin Hood, Ivanhoe, etc.)
