Composer's Note:
Tara Barbador is my interpretation of a painting created by the late visual artist Barbara Tardo, who for several decades was my esteemed colleague at Southeastern Louisiana University. Embedded in her painting are qualities of her amazing personality, which I attempted to bring to life with my music. The title of the work is an anagram of her name.
