Solo Native American Flute
Timescapes consists of four short movements based on the contrast of dramatic, non-repetitive rhythm with more pulse-driven hypnotic passages. Conceived as a companion to my earlier diatonic Prism, Timescapes explores the chromatic possibilities of the Native American flute, especially in the cadenza-like first and third movements.
