Composer's Note:

Originally commissioned in 2019 by the Bateira Trio (New York, NY) for flute, viola, and double bass, the 2020 version is a transcription for flute, viola, and bassoon. softeR.Mutterings seeks to honor the visionary work of French cubist/Dadaist artist Marcel Duchamp, each movement attempting to render the thematic heartbeat of the respective painting/artwork.
