This work, for soprano and piano four-hand, was commissioned by Mme Therese Planiol, French scientist and poet. The stirring, dreamlike poem invokes foggy reminiscences - remembrances of love lost. The piece was commissioned specifically for the somewhat unorthodox, but effective, medium.
