It also pays respect to the great work of Karel Husa, Music for Prague 1968, which quotes the same melody. la chanson du printemps . . . was premiered by Vladimir Valek and the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra and is recorded on A Portrait of American Women Composers, Vol. II MMC recordings (2001) MMC 2101.
