Duo for Flute/Alto Flute/Piccolo and Contrabass

Travelogue, a five-movement suite for flute and contrabass, was composed in the spring of 1989 for Nancy and Bertram Turetzky. Its movements are intended as "souvenirs" of a few of the locations where the Turetzkys have held residences or been featured artists, including Mexico, Poland, Australia, and the Isle of Man. This work has been performed in Australia and Mexico, at the King's Lynn Festival in Britain, and on American new-music programs from Portland, Maine to San Diego, California.
