Note from the composer:

A Child's Question was written in celebration of my third wedding anniversary, and is dedicated to my wife Sharon. I was looking for a text that would explain in the simplest language the meaning of love. Coleridge's poem uses elements of nature, and the image of an adult speaking to a child to convey the wonder and joy of love.
