FIVE SONGS ON CHILDREN'S POEMS

Written in 1972, Five Songs on Children’s Poems are settings of texts drawn from a collection entitled The Wind is an Invisible Butterfly, compiled and published by the Kentucky Arts Commission (KAC) in 1972. It represents a collection of poems written by students who participated in the Poets in the Schools program sponsored by the KAC through the state’s public schools from 1971-72.
