Chorale and Organ Meditation is a setting of verses from Hans Leo Hassler’s Passion Chorale “O Sacred Head, Now Wounded.” This work was commissioned by Robert C. Bowness in loving memory of Jean M. Bowness and in celebration of the installation of the William Johnson Organ at the First United Church of Christ, Northfield, Minnesota in 1994.
