Messages for Raoul Wallenberg

Messages for Raoul Wallenberg

Soprano, Violin (or Flute), Cello, and Piano

Tribute to Swedish architect, businessman, diplomat, and humanitarian. He is believed to have saved thousands of Jewish lives in German-occupied Hungary during the Holocaust from German Nazis and Hungarian fascists during the later stages of World War II. While serving as Sweden's special envoy in Budapest between July and December 1944, Wallenberg issued protective passports and sheltered Jewish people in buildings which he declared as Swedish territory. On 8 March 1945, Soviet-controlled Hungarian radio announced that Wallenberg and his driver had been murdered on their way to Debrecen, suggesting that they had been killed by the Arrow Cross Party or the Gestapo.
