As the titleindicates, these poems, in one way or another, are all about love.Thecollection includes 2 of cummings' best known poems, "a pretty a day"and "she being brand new." This latter poem seems on the surface to beabout starting up an old fashioned car with a crank. However, theimplications are obvious, and the humour is quite intentional, as is thehumour in several of the other poems. Written in 2008 for Canada's ElmerIseler Singers, this set of choral songs won a prize in 2010 from NewYork's Manhattan Choral Ensemble.
