This cadenza can be interpolated into Rossini's music, extending the existing small cadenza atthe very end of the piece.Commissioned by Joaquin Valdepeñas, Principal Clarinet of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra,this cadenza extends Rossini's own very short cadenza and is a showpiece for a virtuoso.
