Composer's Note:
Love Letters Vol. 3 is part of a series of miniatures with the same title. These are “love letters” to the piano – the instrument I love.
Each set is written for a specific pianist, who is listed in the dedication. A quirk of the series is that each set ends with the same piece - Little Piece In Quarter Notes - which was composed in 2019 for pianist David Oei. The reprise of this final piece is the set’s salutation.
