Composer's Note:

Cold Litanies is a trio for flute, cello, and piano, written for Trio Xia. The ensemble gave the premiere performance in February, 2007, during the "Cross Currents" festival at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, in Honolulu. There are three movements: "Blue," White," and "Gray, with Silver.'
