French Horn and Piano
Composer's Note:
Legend has it that two mountains of Langkawi in Malaysia used to be giants. Those giants, named Matt Chinchang and Matt Raya were good friends, but during the wedding of their children Matt Raya noticed the eye of his future son-in-law rove to another woman. A furious altercation ensued and pots and pans were thrown around. Soon after, another giant tried to break up the fight but all three were struck by lightning and turned to stone. They became three mountains in this glistening archipelago and the water bodies formed and flowed through the islands.
