A freewheeling virtuosic rendition of materials from the two movements (in reverse order) of the ensemble piece CANZONA AND DANCE. The first section ('Exhilaration') is a joyful dance in 5/8. The second part is mostly quiet and meditative (Murmurs, Whisp).

Won first prize in the 1995 New Ariel Competition and is recorded on New Ariel CD AE002 by Jeffrey Jacob.
