Commissioned by soloist James VanDemark and the Chamber Orchestra of Columbus (OH) and subtitled 'Parasalenae,' Lunar Halos is a colorful rhapsody for doublebass and chamber orchestra, now peformed seven times by VanDemark with three different orchestras.

Recorded by Boguslaw Furtok and the Polish Radio National Symphony under Joel Eric Suben on Albany CD TROY 491.
