Drone for Flute and Tape

Drone for Flute and Tape

Flute and Fixed Audio Media

Drone for Flute and Tape is a theatrical work, though it can be played without the stage elements.

When the piece is staged, the stage is lit with three spotlights; two of the spotlights are on two (separated) speakers. The third spotlight is on center stage. Before the piece begins, a large box, containing the flutist, is pushed from offstage to center stage.

After the electronic audio finishes, the box is pushed offstage; then blackout.
