Sonata: Motion - for Violin and Piano

Sonata: Motion - for Violin and Piano

Violin and Piano

Composer's Note:

Sonata: Motion is a three-movement sonata for violin and piano. The first movement is an energetic perpetuum mobile. The second movement juxtaposes brutality and delicacy. The third movement uses a wildly antic homage to early rock and roll to frame a contrasting pastoral melody.

Not strictly an arrangement of Sonata: Motion for flute and piano, in particular the 2nd and 3rd movements are quite different.
