Composer's Note:

This piece require the use of a delay pedal and a volume pedal. The delay should be set to align sixteenth notes from measure 12 through 21. The resulting rhythm with the delay from measure 22 onward should be sixteenth notes. The feedback should be set to more then 3.0 but less than 6.5. A ping-pong delay is preferable with two or more speakers.

The palming should be heavy enough to make the notes muted, but speak clearly. During the “lifting palm slowly” section, the palm should decrease muting on the strings slowly allowing for full vibration of the strings.
