I play cello in the Midcoast Symphony Orchestra, an eighty-member community group based in Topsham, Maine. At the orchestra's 2022 online fundraising auction, I offered a custom chamber composition as one of the items. The winning bidder was Tim Kenlan, principal trumpet in the orchestra. This piece is the result.
