A setting of three excerpts from T.S. Eliot's poem The Waste Land for soprano, bass-baritone and piano. It attempts to capture the emotional sensibility of each passage in the poem: the Preamble (in Latin), a dialogue between a man and a woman (lines 111-138 of the poem, and the final stanza of the poem.
