This mass must be sung by a choir of at least 7 voices but a larger choir would be the much-preferred medium. Most of the work is for SATB chorus but 3 movements expand at various points to SSATTBB. The intent in these sections is for the larger soprano, tenor, or bass section to simply split into two smaller sections at these points.
The mass contains the normal 5 movements of the ordinary plus a setting of Psalm 129 (130) for bass soloist with an additional tenor soloist, the tenor entering for a small portion of the Psalm, sung in the appropriate place between the Gloria and Credo.

Movements: Kyrie, Gloria, Psalm 129 "De Profundis", Credo, Sanctus, Agnus Dei
