Composer's Note:

Bird Sailing, Endless Sky is a duo for the Korean instruments daegeum (flute) and gayageum (zither).The latter is the modern 25-string version which allows for more chordal and polyphonic possibilities.

Interpretively, most of the work should be self-evident, but its general character should be one of "expansive austerity".
