Composer's Note:
Point Breeze is a Pittsburgh neighborhood divided by both an elevated freight line and a busway. On the north side of the line there are factories, large cooperative workspaces, and apartment buildings. The other side of the neighborhood is mostly residential, featuring large homes, quiet tree-lined streets, and a variety of small green spaces. While not programmatic, this work can be thought of to transition from the former sonic environment to the latter.
