Composer's Note:

"Arcturus" is dedicated to the CRAS Sextet and to the people of Ukraine, the "Day-Star" intended to serve as a symbol of hope and strength.

This microtonal work involves unique re-tunings for each pair of guitarists (I+II, III+IV, V+VI). Part I begins in 12 EDO (equal divisions of the octave AKA "tempered chromatic scale") and mutates into 18 EDO (1/3-tones). Part II begins in 18 EDO and mutates into 36 EDO (1/6-tones). Parts III+IV begin in 36 EDO and de-construct back to/through 12 EDO to end on a single pitch.
