Camerata Romeu, a women's string orchestra in Cuba, to perform world premiere of "Havana" by T.J. Anderson

Camerata Romeu, in Havana, Cuba, is an award-winning, internationally acclaimed dynamic Cuban women's string orchestra performing Cuban and Latin American chamber music. Cuban pianist/composer Zahili Gonzalez Zamora will perform with the orchestra.

On December 16, Camerata Romeu will present the world premiere of "HAVANA" for string orchestra, by TJ Anderson, at the Basilica of St. Frances in Old Havana. Soprano Louise Toppin will perform with pianist Marvin Mills, and William Banfield's String Orchestra Suite for Havana will be performed by the Camerata, conducted by Zenaida Romeu.

The concert is produced by Professor Bill Banfield, Berklee College of Music, Africana Studies, and Silvia Wilhelm, President, Cubapuentes.
