Based on Music Composed by Henry VIII
A piece for 30 women's voices and various Renaissance instruments, is based upon a poem by W. Allen Ashby. It is divided into six movements, each portraying a different wife of Henry VIII. As follows:
1. Catherine of Aragon (Acc by guitar and tambourine)
2. Ann Boleyn (Acc by recorders: 3 Sop, 2 Alto, 2 Tenor, 1 bass
3. Jane Seynour (Acc by high, medium, and low psalteries)
4. Ann of Cleves (Acc by SATB krumhorns)
5. Catherine Howard (Acc by finger cymbals, high and low hand drums)
6. Catherine Parr (Acc by harpsichord, and off-stage other instruments from list above).
