Matthew Greenbaum, widely known for his chamber and electronic music, has begun digitally animating new pieces, calling them visual chamber music. These animated works will be presented at Spectrum on May 2 at 7:30 pm.

The concert features Mari Kimura in the New York premiere of Les Amoureux for violin and video animation.

Other works and soloists on the program include: Cynthia Folio performing Make Like an Amoeba and Split for flute and video animation; I Saw the Procession of the Empress on First Avenue (for video alone); Nicholas McNamara on Bits and Pieces for tenor saxophone and video animation; and Charles Abramovic performing Effacement for piano and video animation.
