Pianist Jorma Marggraf was born in Dresden in 1998. At the age of four, he started his piano lessons with Gisela Schreiber at the Georg Friedrich Hndel Conservatoire. Since 2014, he has been a student at the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg. He is also active as a harpsichordist in various ensembles. Jorma Marggraf has been composing for many different ensembles, winning the IMPUL Prize of the Halberstadt Composers Workshop, which included an orchestral commission for the IMPULS-Festival.
