Composer's Note:
This was written in response to a Call for Miniatures from the Moreau/VanTuinen Duo. The title refers to a series of challenging arpeggio exercises Danielle VanTuinen was posting online for her euphonium students. They were called "Chomp Challenges." It seemed logical that a miniature version of that would be called a "chompling."
