On Sunday, Oct. 15, at 8 PM, the Da Capo Chamber Players will open their concert season at the Tenri Institute in New York City. Works to be performed include the premiere of a new work by Louis Karchin, Incantations and Dances. The concert will also shine a spotlight on the late music of Elliott Carter, and there will be a panel discussion with composer Tyson Davis, distinguished scholar John Link and composer Louis Karchin on Carter's late works, some written at ages 100 and 101.
