Knoxville Symphony celebrates MLK Day with Joplin's Treemonisha Overture, Jan. 16

Night with the Arts: A Celebration Concert in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  at the Tennessee Theatre, Knoxville, presented the music of Florence Price, Scott Joplin, Valerie Coleman, and William Grant Still. Joplin's Overture to Treemonisha (T.J. Anderson, orchestration) was performed in a free concert by members of the Knoxville Symphony.
