On one's own, together

Composer's Note:

On one's own, together is a reaction to the pandemic crisis. Each person perceives our current situation differently, and yet this problem is affecting everyone. We will not get past this point in history until we all come together and agree on a way to conquer the disease. On one's own, together can be played by any number of performers. In order to successfully execute the work, the players must listen, communicate with one another, and react and respond to what the group is doing. The group comes together as one in the middle of the work. It is my hope that this act of arriving at a single point as a group leaves a lasting impression on the individual players, prompting them to work as one towards a satisfactory conclusion.
