The Waterloo Festival returns for its second year celebrating Waterloo and its rich diversity past and present, this time with the theme of ‘War and Peace’. From Thursday 12 July until Tuesday 17 July 2012, St John’s Waterloo, its Crypt and environs are hosting multiple events from classical music with World and European première performances, guided walks, theatre inspired by local anecdotes from WWII, a community fête, lunchtime events, workshops for the public, a tea dance and much more.
