Robert Ceely: Electronic Music Retrospective (1963-2013) Concert II, Sept. 28th, Boston

The second in a series of three concerts surveying the electronic music of composer Robert Ceely created over a span of fifty years. This program features both analog and digital works realized duringthe 1970s and ‘80s at Ceely’s own BEEP studios in Brookline, MA, aswell as at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Scenes fromindustrial films featuring Ceely’s award-winning electronic scores will also be shown.

The third and final concert of this retrospective on November 9 in Williams Hall at NEC, featuring works by Robert Ceely for instruments with electronics as well as his last fixed media compositions.
