New work for Soprano and Video by Matthew Greenbaum, at HIART Gallery, May 27th

Announcing the premiere concert of the Basmatics, an ensemble performing early and contemporary music.  Performers include Matthew Greenbaum (recorders), Stephanie Griffin (violin/viola), William Anderson (theorbo, etc), Elena Smith (gamba/cello), and Cyndie Bellen-Berthezene (soprano).  Works to be performed on May 27th at the Hiart Studio, 227 W. 29th St. in Manhattan, include Falconieri, Becker, Telemann, and Greenbaum.
