Music of Robert Carl featured at the Wintergreen Arts Festival, July 28th

The Wintergreen Summer Music Festival and Academy, Larry Alan Smith, Artistic and Executive Director, will present a series of more than 200 events in 28 days, July 8 - August 4th, in Wintergreen, Virginia. Composer Robert Carl will be featured in several concerts:

July 28---Coloring Sound’s Scent for oboe, cello and
piano

July 31--composition recital: Nell Miller, Op. 1 for fixed media

A Clean Sweep for shakuhachi and fixed media Haiku of
Buson for narrator and fixed media; Changing My Spots for open instrumentation (Robert Carl,
shakuhachi and narrator)

Aug 2--Un Arco Lento (A Slow Arch), version for flute and string
quintet
August 3 & 4--premiere of Rocking Chair Serenade for
string orchestra
