Phillip Rhodes' Love Song will be performed by members of the National Symphony Orchestra on Friday, Oct. 10th at 6:00pm.  The event is part of the Millennium Stage series at the Kennedy Center. National Symphony Orchestra members Paul Cigan (clarinet), Paula Akbar (violin), Sue Midkiff (violin), Ruth Schaaf (viola), James Lee (cello), and Paul Denola (bass) play Jim Parker’s Bonjour M. Grappelli, a selection from Phillip Rhodes’ Two Appalachian Settings, and Jim Parker’s Concerto for clarinet and strings.
