The Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra, with Cesário Costa, musical director, presents its first concert of the 2011/12 season on September 10, with Jean Sibelius - Finlandia, op. 26; Magnus Lindberg - Concerto for Clarinet (Kari Kriikku, clarinet); Scott Joplin's Treemonisha Overture (Adapted, arranged, and orchestrated by TJ Anderson); and George Gershwin - An American in Paris. The season is presented in the Main Auditorium at Centro Cultural de Belém (CCB), in Lisbon, Portugal.
