"I must study Politicks and War" by Gary Philo, Thursday Dec. 15 at the Tank (TONY critic's pick)
Ear Heart Music presents: Worlds Collide: New music ensemble loadbang (trumpet, trombone, bass clarinet, baritone
voice) showcases the diversity and range of their repertoire in a
program featuring 6 premieres and a 14th century masterpiece.

Critic's pick for this week by Time Out New York

loadbang has performed Medieval
and Renaissance music in the past, and now turn their attention to

performed in period-authentic tuning on modern instruments. Premieres
include Marco Alunno's "Round Dance", which samples a wide range of
historical idioms and styles; a new work by "One of new music's truly
free spirits"* Eve Beglarian; "Mass" by loadbang's own Andy Kozar; a new
movement of Guttural by Alexandre Lunsqui (whose Fibers, Yarn, Wires
will be premiered by the New York Philharmonic the day after this
performance); "I must study Politicks and War" by 1st loadbang call for
scores winner Gary Philo
; and a new work by Chinese singer-composer Fay
Wang.
