Fulmer wins International Edvard Grieg Competition for Composers

David Fulmer won First Prize in the 14th International Edvard Grieg Competition for Composers in
Norway. He is the first American to win the highly celebrated award. The award
and concert was celebrated at the National Gallery in Oslo on 13 June, 2010.
The Award included a cash prize and performances in Oslo, and Salzburg at the
Mozarteum Summer Festival. The first of several upcoming commissioned works
will be premiered at the National Gallery, Oslo, on 13 January, 2011 by Norse
Artists.
