CCI composers concert at the Wilton Library, October 6th

Sunday, Oct. 6, 4 – 5 p.m.
Works by six composer-members of Connecticut Composers – Stan Kaplan, Elizabeth
R. Austin, Frank Vasi, Ryan Jesperson and two long-time residents of
Wilton, Elizabeth Lauer and Eugenie Rocherolle – will be performed by such
diverse ensembles as saxophone and piano, saxophone quartet, solo clarinet, and
solo voice and piano.  Included will be settings of the poetry of Carl
Sandburg and musical evocations of New York and New Orleans and the flight of
Icarus from Greek mythology.  Registration strongly
suggested. concert is free.
